Who We Are

The Mechanicsville Riding Club (MRC) was established in 1970 to promote an interest in horsemanship among the people in our locality to promote good citizenship, sportsmanship and horsemanship among all members of the Club, both young and old. Our members represent a diverse group of riding disciplines and breed interests, including English, Western and Gaited riders. Membership is open to all persons with a sincere interest in horses and their welfare.

 

What We Do

We are a non-profit organization and support various equine and other animal related organizations, including therapeutic riding, equine rescue and the Hanover Humane Society. To support the wonderful trail riding opportunities available to us, we contribute work time and money to parks with horse trails.
